Superfast Surrey State Aid Public Consultation

Finally, having been delayed since last autumn, the consultation has just been announced. I have not had a chance to look at it myself yet, but wanted to get the link out right away, since it only runs for one month.

One Response to Superfast Surrey State Aid Public Consultation

  1. Glyn Jarvis says:

After reading through the document a couple of times, I think they’re asking:
    a) if you are getting less than 30Mb/s, then it should be marked “white” in the sheet.
    b) if you are getting less than 15Mb/s, then it should be marked “target white” in the sheet (or green on the map)

If you agree with their designation, then no need to respond:

for the avoidance of doubt, if you are content with our proposed State Aid Intervention Area, you do not need to respond to the consultation.

They’re going to prioritise money for those in “target white”, which at least includes GU6 7SW (in which I can confirm that I currently get 7Mb/s down and 0.3Mb/s up).
